I have a working (in a K6-2+ system actually) Voodoo5 5500 AGP. Just curious if anyone knows if it has any market value compared to the big, bad, Voodoo5 6000 daddy

nope, the PCI versions are the only ones that still resell for a decent buck

Yeah, shouldn't it be that the AGP versions are faster, therefore worth more? Sorry, I'm just assuming they're faster, I haven't seen the benchmarks.

mainly because the PCI version can still be used in newer motherboards, the AGP(1x 2x) can't.

Ahh, you mean the voltages? I rememeber reading that was a problem in an articel somewhere, I think it was the downfall of a giant one.

AGP 1.0(3.3v)

Games of the time(2000'ish) were barely taking advantage of AGP 2x, there wasn't really any need to go higher :)

not to mention that the AGP version runs in PCI mode because the AGP spec doesn't allow for multiple processors in that iteration (taking that from a previous issue of Max PC, so if it's any different, feel free to correct me).

I have the card in my Duron 1.3 system now, and it smokes in terms of what I have it used for. Not half bad.
