No this hsan't changed. It has always been this way even at delphi. Look at all the posts in this appraisal forum. None of them say for sale do they?

well bud, i think you need to go through the board and look. Are you an admin?
Like i said, I've put things up in here before and actually sold them through here before, and also like i said, after your post i went through the board and actuall the first two posts I read were people trying to sell things. so get off your high horse and go find something constructive to do.

It's an apple, you might as well just use it for kindling. Seriously though $300.00 is my thought, only because it's a laptop though.

new ones start at around 1100 bucks. thats a 1ghz proc with 256 RAM. 300 stands as a decent apraisal for an old used i-book w/ a 2 generation old processor .

If this was an 800mhz PC laptop I would say yes, but Apples still tend to do better than that in secondhand sales. an 800Mhz G3 is nothing to sneeze at. 128MB is low on the Ram though. I would think the value is actually somewhere in the middle of the $300 stated and what he thinks.

Then again an Apple to me is worthless, since I am like a bull in a china shop trying to work that damn OS.

Not everyone else. Just the majority here.

One with only a 733 and 20GB HDD, but 256MB Ram,12in screen is going for nearly 500 with 5 hrs left on Ebay. So I stand in saying that the value is between what people are saying and what he wants. It is just going to be tough to get interest in an Apple to a PC crowd no matter the price.

apple has like 5 percent of the market share and in laptops its even lower. i'd say the majority dont care for apple.

Sure its a minority. I'm not disputing that. But those who love them are willing to pay more than the average PC user will pay for their laptop. They sell at this price on Ebay is all I am saying so there is justification for a price higher than 300. He just isn't going to find them people here.
