I have a Sun Microsystems SPARCServer 1000E that I would like appraised as I will need to sell it before I move out of my current residence. The thing weighs 100 pounds so it won't be easy to sell outside of my area. quick & dirty specs:

Pair of SuperSPARC CPUs clocked @ 50Mhz
Pair of full height Seagate Barracuda SCSI drives (4 gigs apiece)
512 megs of RAM

Others attached to system

3 more system boards. 1 seems to be working ok but has the wrong CPU speed. 1 is questionable (might be ok but have wrong PROM version) 1 has no CPUs so unknown status.

This server can have 4 SCSI hard drives (half height) or 2 full height drives. Have an extra tray so that 4 half height drives can be used. Can also run with 8 CPUs once all 8 are matched.

Boards will more likely work ok once they are all matched properly but cannot be sure as I do not have the spare parts to get this done.

Feel free to post in this thread with appraisals or me directly if you choose instead at cpatricca@idcomm.com

It'll cost more to ship it than it worth. IMO
