My own opinion herew without doing any research is 300. With an os, even a good free linux distro, that could be more in the world of craigslist and the like.

I'd price it at $400 or so at most.

In the day of rent a center and cheap computers its hard to sell used computers. Those that can understand and care about the specs can build their own.

With that said, with that os I would guess $550 tops.

$550? Let's recalibrate a bit, with 7HPx64 $450 tops! Used copies only fetch $50, brand new and sealed $90 -- never $250 as you're proposing.

I was offering the band edge anyone would pay for that setup. Any more and they would say screw that ill build my own. I agree your price is more realistic.

Part of the problem with selling used custom builds is people just want the parts. I was trying to sell off my last computer, everyone wanted the graphics card.

Uh sure, I'll sell you the graphics card for $600, it comes with a computer for free!
