I have a S370 celeron and motherboard that I am selling to a friend. The proc runs at 733 mhz. The motherboard has no special features besides integrated graphics. My friend is now running 100 mhz so he will be happy to buy it. Thanks for the help.

its not really worth anything, $20 maybe for time and effort. $50 if you spend time helping him setup for awhile. Personally id prolly give it away and tell him he owes me one. but thats up to you.

Idea: be a jerk and give it to him with some messed up things (Bend pins in CPU, throw the mobo around a couple times before giving)

ok that was a joke, sell it to him and take the money and run! Cost him $50, he'll probably do anything to get rid of 100mhz.

This is a friend and that is an old processor, so just ask for a twenty and give it to him.

trade, for something he has you would like

a trade seems to be worth more to both parties, as no cash has to change hands. so no one loses

I agree with OCNoob ... this is clearly a 'case of beer' trade.

His dad won't let him buy it not even for $25. I might see about a trade though. The sad thing is that he bought the computer from his sister for $70 last year. I can't belive it can get on the internet. Thanks for the help though.
