I work for GSA (General Services Administration) as a contract holder between the federal gov't & private sector vendors & manufacturers.

I recently hatched up a plan to take advantage of our 0.415 discount that we receive from our vendors.

Specs & Prices
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black edition 3.2Ghz (Reg: $399 / My Price $150)
Motherboard: Asus Formula IV Motherboard ($250 / My Price $99)
Ram: Sector 5 Patriot DDR3 4x4GB Kit (16GB!) ($450 / My Price $270)
PSU: Cooler Master 1000W Silent MPro ($219 / My Price $120)
Video:2x Crossfire HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 ($400 / My Price $190!)
Tower: Antec 900 Gaming case ($130 /$70)
HDD: 1TB Seagate7200 RPM 32mb cache ($69 / $27)
Keyboard & Mouse LogitechG15 v2, G5000 Mouse ($150 / $89)

I also tried purchasing a 30" LCD, however all the damn vendors gave me a 60+ shipping period to Guam.

I will post pics once the vendors deliver the components to our office this Saturday

So, despite a 60% discount, you still managed to build a shite PC for $1000.

Useless amounts of RAM, ridiculously overpowered PSU, a pair of GPUs that would be outperformed by a single better GPU in the same price point ... all paired with an overpriced mid-range CPU.

Not to mention abusing his government position to get said discounts. I hope you realize you more than likely broke the law.
