I will say this IMO that all components together if they were new you get about $540 roughly since I'm sure they're used figure about half now you are talking about $270. You might have luck selling a few parts from the bunch like the processor, the memory, and the vid. card. Those are the only things that have a good/decent value but its still in the air. Maybe you could turn the rig into a media server and/or folding monster? If you want a price break down let me know. Hope this helps in your decision. If you built the rig and still have the boxes and paper work for the items it helps with the resale value as well.

Thanks. I was afraid of that.

I just built this in January, but I guess that is what happens when you buy on a budget.

Thanks for your imput!

Well I hate to say it but a lot of times we (those of us that build) tend to keep what we build because they aren't worth what we paid for in a monetary value how ever they always serve a purpose. What was the original purpose for this computer?

I didnt really have a purpose other than just to be my home computer. I have it setup for folding, and have folded quite a bit.

So I will continue to fold and just have it as my main computer. I will just get a laptop that is a little less than what I originally wanted.
