The download version is $50, the physical shipped discs are $57.44 ($50 + $7.44 s&h).

This is an e-mail offer, so if it doesn't work for you, I apologize, but I see no reason why it shouldn't. If you were looking to get this, and it works for you, you're welcome, if not, then I'm sorry, but at least I tried.

You can buy Roxio Creator 2010 Pro (2 disc set) on eBay for $20.

Sweet, cuz it's always a good idea to buy pirated or used software that can't be registered or activated :D . Once you register a Roxio 2010 product key, you can't un-register it, and I simply don't trust any individual on ebay to sell me legit software. Companies, real ones, maybe, but not regular Joe Schmoes, and especially not the ones who are selling PAL formatted DVD's that won't run or install on my machine, or the obviously pirated copies that the sellers photo-chopped the pix of. You gotta look for certain things, certain flaws, and I saw a lot of them. I think I'd rather stick to the originals and just pay a legit price to boot.

Again you show that you don't know what you're talking about. It's bulk software that hasn't been pirated or activated. If you like spending more money for retail software have at it.

Seriously dude, I went through multiple sellers' listings, and I saw tons of flags that steered me away. There was one seller who'd obviously edited the picture he/she used for the discs, another that was selling a PAL version from Ireland in the US, another who had discs manufactured in a country that Sonic does NOT use to manufacture their products, etc., etc., etc. These are not simply bulk software sellers, they're bogus. I suppose, however, that you'd think the same thing if you were to see supposedly legit software from a stand in Korea or Taiwan or something, Mexico perhaps? Hardware's one thing, but software's another, and I simply wouldn't trust them to wash their hands after blowing their noses, let alone buy pirate-able (and at least in most cases, pirated) software from them.

Anyway, it's kind of a moot point, Roxio 2010 sucks on Windows 7, so many flaky issues it's not really worth the purchase anyway, regardless of how cheap.

Why did you start this thread if the software sucks?

For some reason it only has these issues on Win7, not XP or Vista (any more anyway, since the newest updates), so it doesn't completely suck, just if you want to use it on Win7. Regardless, if you're one of those to have XP or Vista and were looking to get this software, this is a great deal anyway. <-- That's why.
