Title says it all I type in the correct username and password and it keeps taking me back to the enter username and password field.

Delete your cookies for the site and try again.

to tell the truth, I've had the exact same problem with every version of Firefox I've tried, but ONLY on 64-bit versions of Windows. On Linux and 32-bit Windows I can log in just fine with firefox. And yes, I've tried clearing cookies. no cigar. I've just been using IE for these forums on my desktop, which I'd rather not do.

IE has a 64 bit version, but since there is no 64 bit version of Flash it kinda sucks to use.

Weird, Firefox has always worked on 64-bit for me. You might want to send this problem to the Free Clinic ya no. :wink:

your using a 32 bit browser. not a 64 bit browser

Yes they do ... Adobe released a beta 64-bit Flash player for linux only almost a year ago: Link

Edit: that release was an alpha .. I'm too lazy to see if they've moved up to beta and / or full release since then

Idk what happened it just worked today probably a solar flare... but how did this turn into a firefox discussion?

It is still alpha (or was two weeks ago) and FF now complains because it is an old add-on. I lol'd and told it never to remind me about that again.

First we're going to debate how difficult and horrible linux is, and how M$ is suprerior in every way. Monkeys vs Honda Accords will follow. I haven't seen Moore's law or Darwin's Theory Of Evolution mentioned recently. Nows as good as time as any :D


Just remember:
1) Delete your cookies
2) Firefox rules the interwebs
3) Never try to log out or leave MPC.com

I'm having the same issue as Danthrax. Chrome won't log in, even after clearing everything. FF works. 32bit. I still like Chrome more, though =P it loads faster

Problem only with my laptop. *shrug*
