back before the orange update the forum index had the small icon that the main page currently does. but after it seems you guys removed it.

I think it would be better if you put it back.



the link on the left leads to the forum, and the one of the right leads to the main page, before they both would have had that MPC icon.

it makes the bookmark icon pop more than the default page and makes it easier at a glance to know which bookmark is yours on the my bookmark toolbar, it would help even more on the traditional bookmark menu where people would have many bookmarks stacked together.

it's not a huge deal by any means but it would make things that much easier for your users.

In my experience, when you make a bookmark, make sure the url has the "/" at the end. I had this problem before where the icon wouldn't show up and this fixed it. (So the bookmark should read http://www.maximumpc.com/ and not http://www.maximumpc.com). HTH

err... the forums don't have the icon anymore, you can see in the address bar.

Ahh, I see. Well if you are using Firefox then this but yes I hope they fix that.

The small logo is WIN!; not having one is just average.

I've posted a bug, so it should return in the bugfix release in a week or so.

Favicon? Always had one, never lost it
