Why isn't my avatar pic or my signature showing up in my posts? I have those items checked and they appear in my profile but they don't show up on my posts.

Then why not remove the signature creation area and state clearly that it cannot be done.

Because they would have to severely hack up the PHPBB software. Not to mention that would take a ton of time to do.

Love your magazine, I've been a long time subscriber but that sure sounds more like MINIMUMPC than MAXIMUMPC.

phpBB doesn't offer the ability to remove that section of the configuration panel. Doing so requires hiring a programmer to hack the code and maintain it.

These guys are writers, not programmers ... and I can't see anyone paying for a contractor to do something so trivial in today's economy.
