Hey MPC,

I'd love to get a subscription with you guys but I got to tell you its hard for a Canadian customer that does want to sucked into getting a credit card. Any chance your gonna get associated with paypal and make it a little easier on everybody?

If anyone else feels this pain chime in.

You'd have to pretty much jump through the same hoops with a credit card company. Not much other choice for people like me, who don't want to get a credit card.
Phishing and spoofing can really happen with any site. I've gotten plenty of emails from "ebay" and "paypal" claiming I need to change my password, I just don't follow them I go straight to the site. Its foolish these days to trust an email you get from anyone even if it looks genuine.

It would just be nice to have another way for Canadian customers to subscribe.

It isn't all contract misunderstandings. When you mail $900 worth of stuff to someone and then they claim to of never gotten it, and back charge to Paypal, and then Paypal, regardless of the signed signature card you got from UPS, sides with them and fucks you out of your money, it isn't a contract misunderstanding.

I filed criminal fraud charges against a school teacher, mail fraud and criminal use of a school system computer network as well as federal charges for committing a felony act within 1000 yards of a school. The guy is sitting in jail, serving 4 years for all of it. I provided Paypal with his conviction paperwork via the Prosecutors office. Ultimately, I was informed that since the guy was such a loyal customer with thousands of transactions with Paypal and since I only had about 25, they were put in a place of remaining loyal to their customer. In other words, fuck you and your $900....even if you can prove the guy was a crook, he spends enough money with us so you can screw off.

Yeah...find THAT in the contract.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

lol I forgot about this post.

I would use bill me later if it was available for international customers.
I don't think I'm going to the wrong spot to subscribe, bottom of the home page and then hit subscribe, clicked on international and no bill later

Wally World and several grocery stores like Kroger,Fry's, Bashes.

I bought one for my Daughter for her birthday. She loved being able to go to the mall at 13 and use a credit card. lol

I mise well add something on topic to balance that out.

I only use pay pal for small and recurring payments. Anything over $100 is a no-no. I've sent payments > $1000 before....but after some reading im done rolling those dice.

Yep ... NCIX FTW! I've never had a problem with them and their shipping charges are perfectly reasonable, imo.

I don't subscribe to the magazine. If I did, I'd use my Visa.

For those who don't want a credit card ('cause you don't want to build your credit rating? :?), just go get a pay-as-you-go Visa.

lol well this one turn into a bit of a cat fight.
Haven't ordered anything from Newegg canada yet so I haven't really looked at the shipping, but I am really not a fan of NCIX's shipping.

Only thing we have for grocery stores around here is the super store and sobey's. I'll have to do a bit more hunting at Wally world.
I don't have my hopes up for that though New Brunswick is kinda of the armpit of the Maritimes unless you live near a big city like Bathurst, Moncton, St John, or Fredericton.

Gamerfreak tone it back on the red bull, have to start calling you FPS Doug soon
