This was a new one tonight. Tried to log in through the website, but there was no clear way to log in!

Instead, I had to add "/forums" to the URL in the address bar to be able to log in!

Edit:

.. and all posts are marked as Read. :(

Edit x2:

Found the "Log In" ... bottom of the website's main page!

I had the same bug this morning. The header of the home page was missing.

I hit F5 and everything refreshed correctly.

It works with all web browers. ;)

F5 is nothing more than a refresh key.

You youngins don't know how good you have it. I remember the days of when the F keys were a necessity just to write a term paper.

I don't know why that made me laugh so hard.

My problem over the last few days has been logging in, hitting the "View New Posts" button and getting a return saying there have been no new posts since your last visit. Even though I KNOW that after not logging in since 8pm last night, there had to be new posts. This has happened quite a lot. I'm just now actually saying something about it.

Are you logging in from the home page or the forum directly?

So far, it has happened when coming to the forums via the link on the home page and twice when using a bookmark in FireFox 3.0.

Let me reprase.

Are you going to the home page, logging in from there and then going to the forum?

Or, are you going to the homepage, going to the forum via the header link, and then logging into the forum?

There are two different ways to log in. The top of the home page works. The options in the forum don't.

Will has stated that the forum is being worked on... to work as normal.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if a tech-savvy CFO wanted to re-direct forum traffic through the website. More traffic = more hits : More hits = more ad $$$.

I could be waaay off, but from a marketing standpoint, it makes... cents!

As near as I can tell, this has been fixed!

Tonight, I logged in through email notification, read several threads, posted in a few, and all unread threads were still unmarked! :D

Thanks, Will! :D
