Is there a function on these forums where you are able to save certain favorite threads that you like with a simple click of the mouse? You know, you find a thread that is particularly interesting and want to keep referring back to it, so all you have to do is click on a button so it saves itself to a list of favorite threads, say in the user's Control Panel.

That way all you have to do is click on the link to the thread instead of having to use the search function to find it.

If there is not a feature like this on the forums, is there a way to implement something like it?

An alternative would be to create and name a folder in your browser's bookmarks and save the links that way, naming each one appropriately. I know you've likely already thought of this and it's not meant to detract from the point of the thread, but maybe it will give someone out there an idea. :)

Point well taken! That is something that I have been doing since visiting the MPC forums, but the sad part is that I lost all my favorite MPC threads (like 30 or so) when my hard drive crashed and I lost nearly everything. That's why I was hoping for a server-side feature in lieu of a client one.

Anyone willing or know how to work this type of feature into the forums? =)

We're at our load limit for new features in the forums, at least for right now.

Each new feature you add, adds a significant amount of time every time you have to update the board for security or new features.

I wonder if there's a firefox plugin that would help make this easier.

Unfortunately, I am not part of the enlightened crowd that has discovered and uses Firefox for their internet browser of choice.

I probably should give it a shot one of these days, I suppose.

There is an option to do this but it is only given to those that fold. :P

Nice. Love how you have to be an uber member of the MPC F@H team project in order to use the most simplest functions of a board that I and everyone else contributes to.

Last I looked, this was a community board geared for the masses... not just the select few that elect to spend their time groping greedily for points and winning leaderboard positions.

My, my, how this board has progressed since Blondie took the helm as head F@H leader of MPC. What's next? We have to be members of the MPC F@H team in order to use the bold, italic and underline features when making a reply? Or perhaps we can't use emoticons in our posts unless we produce at least 100 WU's every week and increase MPC's WU average by 3% every other month.

Give me a fucking break. If what you say is indeed true, the more things change here, the more they stay the same.
