I love the fact that you guys are archiving stuff now and there's a lot more online at your site than the last time I looked. Last time, albeit, it was a few years ago - there were only a few articles from each issue of the magazine featured. I've been a subscriber for nearly a dozen years and have learned most of what I know about pc's from your mag and these forums. I've gotten to the point where now when I have a question - noone has an answer. I guess I've learned to solve most issues and only need help with the most perplexing. It can be a little frustrating coming to an impass as I can't seem to advance my knowledge any further - However, that's not what I've come here to say. :p
I was recently looking for articles on how to dual boot on the site and found literally dozens of references to "dual boot". My problem is there's no index or table of contents. You show a list of maybe 8 articles and a brief synopsis and then you have to load the next of over a dozen pages. It can take a long time to find what one is looking for in this manner. Would you consider an option for a more scaled down search result return? e.g. - just a list of articles in a selectable order (most relevant, oldest, newest, alphabetical). On that subject, how about a master index?
Furthermore and in reference to my above comments about my knowledge impass -- are there any sister publications under your parent publisher that go more in depth technically? Programming magazines? Software specific? Design?
I often wonder where Gordon gets his seemingly endless array of knowledge and solutions. Point me in THAT direction.
