Geez, I never use Facebook anymore and putting RANDOM replies to comments on my FB page when I forget to UNCHECK a box is absurd! Is there ANY WAY to automatically disable this damn thing? I have a proper login with MPC but that is no good with comments which forces me into using DisCuss or FB or whatever.

And what good is the subject line anymore since it never show up on the post?

Anyone noticing the number of comments steadily going DOWN? There is a reason for that.

I came to the forums searching for an answer to this very same question.

Surely there's a mod or a Maximum PC employee around somewhere that can explain this to us.

Mods can't explain it .. we don't have that level of control or insight into the workings of the site. We can only push the buttons supplied to us (Move, Split, Delete topic and Ban user).

An employee of the magazine might be able to explain it.

To the OP, you say that you "never use Facebook anymore" so I take it to mean that you have no use for Facebook anymore. So my suggestion, at least until this gets sorted out, is that you simply disable your FB account. I have done this several times. You effectively disappear as if you were never there, but to reactivate all you have to do is sign in with your password. Then everything reappears as if you had done nothing.
