today the folding forums were hit with 13 different 1st postings that should never have been posted considering that even a legitimate first time poster has to wait for approval of his post, sometimes it is never approved and posted. but spammers with a first post can get on without any controls being activated (namely approval by a mod or administrator) why is that???

In all seriousness, MaxPC has always seemed to be a little too spam tolerant. Plenty of it over in the article comments also!

I hate to say it but the folding forum is hit every 15-45 mins with a spam post. As a matter of fact if every forum was racing using spam as there fuel the folding forum would have lapped all the other forums at least 10 times.

I think some one hit the wrong button and it released the spam wave onto the forum. If you guys see that again let me know and I can clear it up, if I don't see it first.
