Maximum PC

In the past few days I have been seeing a full page ad more than 25% of the times that I hit the maximumpc.com homepage. This is the ad were it load an alternate page with an ad before loading the homepage and give you a link in the top right that says "Continue to Maximum PC". I come back to the site multiple times a day and it is getting frustrating having to click through that ad so many times in one day.

Please tell the Future US web team that Maximum PC visitors will not stand for this many ads.

Dude, the advertisers pay to display ads so we get to use the site for free. If they don't pay, we'll have to.

I understand that there is a need for ads. I know most people use Adblock and that is probably what is prompting them to get more agressive with ads. I don't use any sort of Adblock, I see them all.

My point was that the full page ads started to get excessive late last week. I am fine with seeing one or even two of these types of ads each days. The 5-10 (each day) that I have seen in recent days is too much. When I hit maximumpc.com I want to be greeted with the actual homepage, not the Battlefield 3 ad I saw 3 times that day, requiring me to click "Continue to Maximum PC".

The solution I practiced today was to visit the site fewer times.
