Maximum PC

How is the difference in sound quality? Noticeable?
I have a Audigy platinum right now and im upgrading my system soon
is it worth it to change it out? I dont really like the external drive. I prefer
the internal live drive I currently have. so what do you guys think?

The internal card...the daughter card in the back PCI slot???? Oh! The Drive bay one! Ya...sorry.

Anyway, live drive confusion aside....there's a big difference in the Audigy2 family to my ear. I didn't notice anything from SB's first Live! card to the Audigy; But DID hear a big difference when the Audigy2 rolled out. The ZS? I doubt it's a step up from the Audigy2 that much, but it still is much better sounding than the Audigy1. Makes sense, right?

A final note...you won't notice with crap speakers. You already knew that though I'm sure. But do you actually use that live drive!? I'd really think about simply saving some cash and get a non-Platinum Audigy2 ZS. A Gamer is a very fine card. I use the drive, but seldom see others that do. They just wanted to blow money I guess.
