Maximum PC

I hope I'm asking this in the right place since I'm looking for a hardware...

I just recently used Gmail to make calls with my Google Voice number, and I'm wondering if there are standalone phones available that can do this. The phone would just have power plug and networking plug, and lets you sign-in your GV account to make and receive calls.

could also use a headset, but the google voice number you are using...is it linked to a phone? while i had my landline service with at&t, i had used just a regular phone that was available at Target, nothing special.

i have a separate google voice number, but it is linked to my cellphone, which has a separate number - when i get a phone call it rings on both - i like the convenience of using the headset, myself, especially when im on my pc

My GV is only linked to my cellphone and Google Chat. The way it works with Google Chat does not require a separate phone number, which is why I'm hoping a phone can function the same as GChat on PC.

Only downside - the hardware costs $200, and the cheaper solution they have (Sipgate) is a little clunky.

Sipgate seems to charge minutes, even though the number itself is free.
