I know a little bit about port forwarding.
However, how do I get the game display my WAN ip address instead of my local ip? Thanks.

What kind of router do you have?

Regardless, you have to allow via your firewall in your router the following ports:

UDP 1200 (used for friends service)
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive
TCP 27020 to 27050 inclusive

And for Counter Strike Source you need to setup a virtual server, and allow ports:
27015
and
27016

all udp (user datagram protocol).

Thank you very much guys.
Ok, I seems to know how to foward the ports. (I have a linksys WRT54GS router) However, I can't seems to find my own server through the CS:S find server screen because my server computer uses the local ip address (192.168.1.105) instead???
How do you make CS:S use the internet ip address instead? Thanks.

it will always show the local address as is mine too...

22:47:50 hostname: fy_houses 24/7
version : 47/1.1.2.5 2834 secure
tcp/ip : 192.168.123.139:27016
map : fy_houses at: 0 x, 0 y, 0 z
players : 6 active (9 max)

but it also shows up online as well...

chk with www.gametiger.com and search for your WAN ip address...

Do I "have to" disable DHCP to get it to work? Thanks a lot!
