ok my lan party has grown beyond the 7 people that my home network can handle. so i've been looking around newegg and found this. so would this suffice? i dont need to share internet or anything, i'm just going to connect a bunch of computers for a lan party. so is it good quality and what i should be looking for? i've never bought anything from them, all my stuff is linksys and microsoft so i dunno.

Never heard of 'em, but judging from the reviews on Newegg, it looks to be a descent switch. It looks like quite a few of the people there that bought it, did so with the same intentions as you. :)

well i had my LAN party last night, and this morning. the switch was absolutely great. dropped it off the table a few times on accident and it survided :lol: . setting up a quick network was easy with one computer designated as a server. for anyone that needs a cheap switch with a lot of ports this is where its at.
