I am looking for a hardware solution to my network security.

I have been looking at things like a Sonicwall SOHO3 or TZ170
or a WatchGuard Firebox SOHO6

I had another post named network security a little while ago but my question was never answered. If anyone could reccomend an above device or a better solution i would be very grateful.

Information from my last post
"I am looking for an option for making our small businees network more secure.

Currently we are just running a shared LAN off a router and and a cable internet line.

What is your current network like?

Currently It is just a shared network between 8 comps (mostly win2kpro machines) in a small business.
One computer is hosting the database currently. When we move to a new building I will convert it over to a server/client based network with windows server for more control to data access and software firewall protection for the network. However till then i need something for more protection between our cable internet modem and our router. Maxpc had given a good review about a security box in the last couple issues but i can't seem to find it.

I just recently started to work here and I inherited the network as my own. So I am trying to make it better.

All i need is something that can cover our current setup going out to 2 switches across the office

after the move it would run between the cable modem and the server running windows server with a software firewall . "

As a SOHO3 user for years, I must say I'm unhappy in the direction Sonicwall is heading. Outsourced tech support to India, and extremely buggy firmware... not something that instills confidence for your network security.

In light of the above, I no longer recommend Sonicwall. I'd consider this unit... which is what I'll probably get for my office:

It has won several awards, seems to do much more than the competition for much less. Also popular is the Netscreen 5GT Extended:
