If I set up a guest network and regular wifi network is there a way that viruses, malware, spyware, etc, can get through to the regular wi-fi network (which would have access to my wired network) if I kept the optional to enable routing between networks DISABLED?

Can viruses and malware traverse through a Guest network to the wired/regular wireless network?

I'm doing this at work so that clients and vendors can connect to wireless, and so we can keep a secured wireless connection available to the employees (the regular wi-fi which is also linked to the wired clients).

My concern is with viruses and malware making their way from the Guest network to the other two networks (regular wi-fi and wired).

My guess is that it shouldn't, and one would think that your router manufacturer separated the two areas. Personally, however, I would see about contacting the manufacturer of the router.
