Maximum PC

Hey! I am getting the best internet that is available in the town where I live (costs $250 a month) from the only internet provider in the area and I am getting like an average of 50kps! To load a page like maximumpc for example, for it to load all the way it takes from 1-2 minutes and I am not even able to watch a video on YouTube in 240P without it stopping every 30 seconds!!! and my ping on online games on a good day is around 400-800 (don't know much about ping just that it says 400-800 on a good day) and when I play games the internet stutters like crazy making online gaming almost impossible! And my friend... takes him an hour to load a 4 minute video in 360P on YouTube with his cheaper internet. The internet where I live is total **** so I am curious if there are any other options I might have? I looked at Sprint 3G a few months ago and the 3G coverage in my town is only around my house and and a few small areas speckled around. Really odd but OK if according to there 3G map my house is the only major place then cool! There are a few small areas that have 2G though but not many. So if you have any suggestions let me know! Oh and BTW I found out that at&t has a fiber optic cable running right down the main road! Beside my house! Maybe I could tap in!
