I'm currently a customer of Cox Communications and I'm looking to upgrade from the rental modem that they're letting me have right now.

The router that I currently have is this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6833122326

What is a good modem that I can purchase that will pair with this router well enough to not bottleneck it/reduce its capabilities or anything else like that?
I have a small amount of knowledge in what to look for so you don't have to totally dumb everything down for me when explaining your recommendation. Promise. xD

Thanks for the help!

You'll want to get a DOCSIS 3.0 modem from this list:

Cox Approved Modem List (the forums don't like the full link, expansion below )
Code:
http://ww2.cox.com/residential/support/internet/article.cox?articleId={b2ec95d0-7ef9-11df-5590-000000000000}

That said, I've had good luck with the Motorola Surfboards in the past myself.
