I don't want a file server. What I'm actually wanting is a software that you can download HTTP links with. I have utorrent w/ web interface for torrents, FTP Rush for FTP (though I would still like to find a way to set up downloads remotely though a interface or something), but no solution for HTTP yet. For instance, I'm downloading some VHD's for Windows Server 2008 R2 Evaluation right now to play around with. In total they are about 5GB. Rather than using my main PC I'd like a easy way to send them to my download server (Win XP Pro VM on a VMware ESXi Server) and have it download them and place them in a specified folder. Then I could just browse to the appropriate network share later.

So far I've found no solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am pretty sure you are looking for a download manager.

DownloadThemAll! is a good one for Firefox.

Yeah, found a remote access serve for Free Download Manager. A little simpler than I wanted but it has web access. It'll work. May just have to figure out of to modify the default web site to be a bit more useful but it'll do.

Thanks!
