I recently built a new PC that I want to put into my room (second floor of my house), and I want to access the local network I've set up. The thing is, running a ethernet cable up there from the first floor would be very difficult, for a couple reasons not very important to list, so I'm trying to find other options. The DSL modem I'm using also can act as a wireless router, and I have another wireless router that works. Is it possible to connect two wireless routers to each other? I don't really know what kind of router the modem is, but the other router is a Belkin Advanced Wireless Router, model F6D4230-4.
If that won't work, do I need to get a wireless card for the PC? I'm afraid that if I do that, I'll get lag or unacceptably slow speeds on the internet or transferring files between computers.
