Maximum PC

Hi,

I don't know if this question has been answered before, but I'll ask just in case. I bought a new computer and it has windows 7 installed. In previous operating systems (XP, windows 2000) I was able to map a drive without a problem. Now when I try to do that in win 7, I can't. I keep getting error messages. I go to the Network icon, I get the message: Network discovery and file sharing are turned off. Everything I do to get network discovery turned on doesn't work. I am at my wit's end. I don't know what else to do. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
