Maximum PC

Hi, I am looking to get a new wireless-N router. The problem is, not all computers in our home have N. I heard somewhere that if you buy a simultaneous dual band router, you can get around this, but they seem expensive ($150). Is there a cheaper alternative? I'm looking for a linksys router, as I hear they're the best. Thanks.

I wouldn't limit yourself to just one brand. Linksys are good routers, but it's impossible to claim one specific brand as the best. Linksys might have the "Best" router in one catagory, but the worst in another. It's best to compair routers of diffrent brand in your specific price range.

Okay, Thanks. I'll look into other brands of routers. But, is the only way to get 2 computers w/ wireless g and wireless n connected to get a simultaneous dual-band router?

Dual-band is for wireless N in 2.4ghz (most common) and the 5ghz (least common) spectrum. You can connect to a router with both wireless N and G in mixed mode.
