where do i find out how much flash memory my router has.
I have a comtrend CT-5361T that i got from my isp and was wondering if i could install ddwrt or tomato.

It's not just a matter of the amount of memory or flash available, the router also has to have supported chipsets. Generally speaking, unless your router is listed in the dd-wrt database or listed at the tomato website (they don't have a formal database ala dd-wrt), then it won't be possible. Fwiw, I don't see your router listed by either.
