I've been setting up a room for a friend of mine, and she has three devices that need to be connected to the internet (laptop, desktop and an x-box 360). We've used a '
D-Link DIR-825 Xtreme N Dual Band Gigabit Router' to use for the purpose. She doesn't actually need to network these things together, but I was recommended to get a router to use to split the internet connection between them.
Everything seems to be working all right, except that we can't get the connected computers (laptop or desktop) to connect properly to
Livestream sites (
http://www.livestream.com/). We figure it has to be the router that's the problem, because if we remove it and connect one of the computers directly to the modem, the sites with Livestream content work fine.. it's only when the routers in place that they refuse to work.
I've looked all over this, and other help sites to find some kind of solution to this problem, but so far nothing has worked. I tried port forwarding the suggested ports (80 and 1935), but it didn't do anything.
If anyone can suggest something, or offer advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks
