Hello all.

So i have a friend that i am sharing my wireless signal with so he can have internet and such. but we have run into a small problem. He has an iphone and it apparently cant pull the signal from my D-Link Dl-614+ wireless router. it is too week. He can connect fine with his Netbook wi-fi. but the signal just isnt strong enough for the iphone.

We would like to set up a share on the netbook so he can wirelessly connect his iphone to it and have access to the net on the iphone for downloading apps and stuff. I have searched for about 2 days now and have come up with ways... but not very in depth instructions on how to do it.

so just to clear this up:

we want to setup internet connection sharing on his Netbook, (windows xp SP3) that is using my wireless signal to connect to the internet, so that he can have the net on his iphone.

if you have any questions for me feel free to ask. and no he doesnt have a data plan on the iphone.

You might want to pony up and get an access point. Or turn an old router into one.
