 Post subject: router question?

im using a wired connection using a netgear router but do if make a diffrence what router i use for xbox live if im connected by ethernet for example if i use a N router insted of a -G will it be faster?

If you're using an ethernet connection, the wireless portion for you is meaningless. Ethernet nowadays is either 100Mb/s or gigabit speed. Either way, that speed is only meaningful for PC-to-PC file transfers, as the speed of your internet connection is far, far below that. So no, G or N doesn't mean a thing for wired connections.
