Can somebody help me work through this thought?

I have the ability to access a wireless and wired network. There are a couple applications that I want to send through the wireless network (a specific browser for example, could be connected to VPN or not) and I want everything else to go down the wired network (outlook, windows explorer, IE, Office communicator, etc).

Is this possible?

You might be able to use FreeProxy. It can bind itself to a specific NIC, so the app you want to run through that one can go through the proxy (and out that NIC). Then make sure that the wired connection has a lower metric than the wireless connection so Windows will choose it for all other traffic.
