For the past day Gmail has been acting up. It takes up to a minute to send messages, to switch between folders about 30 seconds, sometimes I have to close my browser down and restart to "force" it to work.

I have the most recent version of Firefox and I am using Avast and Windows Defender on Windows Vista SP2-I just fresh installed.

It seems to only be happening in Firefox. Should I re-install or are other people having issues with Gmail as well. I can't even get to the Gmail sign in page anymore.

I haven't noticed any difference in gmail's behaviour ... accessing it using Win 7 / chrome and home-rolled 'nix / firefox.

Might be a regional problem or something on your end?

Actually, it's Firefox.

3.5.2 sometimes will not load pages, or load them incorrectly, requiring a restart. Also, the cursor will disappear on flash video.

In the mean time, I'd take Opera.

Well I fresh installed again. I was having trouble with Fallout 3 and the xlive.dll file so I said WTH. It's working now, it's not slow. Everything seems to be alright. I will update on any further issues.
