Do Torrents feel the same as P2P filesharing? Can you run open seaches through the torrent program interface as you can with P2P programs like Limewire? All I've seen from torrents are websites that post files, then you use a torrent program to download it. I'm not a fan of that aspect, am I missing the bigger picture? Sorry for my ignorance.
Yes, torrents are like that, you go to a website where they host the torrent, click download or something and open that torrent.
But the thing about it is they can have comments. People can download it before you and test if its legit or not. Saves you form questioning yourself if your going to get rickrolled or slapped in the face with a virus.
The sharing part is more of your control. You can control which files to share or which files to download. It has a lot of user control over unlike your mundane, everyday p2p program.
