Here's what I'm trying to figure out:

I have a 2 story house.
DOWNSTAIRS is where the cable modem enters the house.

The cable modem goes into a wired router [DLINK DL-704P],
that feeds IP adresses to 2 computers and a printer.

UPSTAIRS I want to hook up my wifi router [DLINK DI-614+] to feed a laptop and one more computer.

My question is, how do I set it up so that the upstairs computers can PRINT to my printer DOWNSTAIRS.?

I dont want to buy a cable modem for upstairs nor do it want to run any LAN cables upstairs either.

And I thought of hooking up the wireless router to port 4 on the wired router, but signal-wise it might not be enough.

What do you guys think?
Thanks
