My dad calls me and is going on vacation and taking his laptop he just got with him and wants me to explain how he connects it to the wireless at his hotel. He doesnt live close enough for me to show him conviently in time and I am horrible at explaining things on the phone to people who dont know the topic very well.

IS there a website anyone knows with like step by step instructions and big pictures so he can see and just make his own notes that I can just email him to check out before leaves monday?

Or for wireless:
1. Open Connect to a Network by clicking the Windows logo in the bottom left corner of your display,
and then clicking Connect To.
2. In the list of networks, click the network that you want to connect to, and then click Connect.
3. If there is one, enter the security key. You’ll usually have a choice of either typing a key into a window
that pops up, like a password, or inserting a USB fash drive that contains the security key into a USB
port on the computer.
Once you’re sure that the frst computer is working correctly, you can add additional computers or devices
to the network the same way.

You need to work on your phone skills
