ok My connection is currently 10Mbs down
My wireless adapter is 54Mbs g
My router is 10/100 Mbs

Now Would getting a wireless n adapter make any difference?
is would seem my connection would top out at 10Mbs any way right?

As far as internet speed goes, no.

You'd need to make sure that both your router and wireless adapter are N-spec in order to see any difference anyway.

You will likely see an increase in file transfer speeds if you move large amounts of data between computers ob your network, and in my experience I get better reception with all N-spec gear than with just G.
