This isn't a programming question, but I felt it was appropriate to put in this section:

I'm looking for a web host that will support file uploads via PHP files? Anyone know of a good web host that will allow me to do this? I"m currently using 1&1 and found out they support PHP, but don't support PHP file uploads.

Essentially, I want to create PHP scripts that will allow me to upload files to my website from a web browser.

This is not a programming question, as you pointed out, and belongs in the Internet Truckstop. I'll move it there for you. :)

I thought godaddy supported that. Might be an 'upgrade' tho. Really, the cheapest way to go about this would probably be by just setting up your own web server, but that's the whole point of hosts, so you don't have to pay for the traffic....

This topic is knida old, but Ill gladly reinvigorate it...

I use netfirms, it is advertised in Maximum PC, but its really good.

Netfirms.com/max - 10 bucks FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR!!!!

It has 250gb space, php, mysql, the works. At 10 for a year, its ridiculous (note that it is spelled correctly).

After that year, u can make another one for 10 bucks, and transfer your original for free. So its 10 a year for LIFE!

Definitely worth it, check it out!
