Hi All,

I want to create a free forum for my school, the forum will not be that big but there might be a lot of people visiting.

I have found many free forum hosts thru google, but I need a feature where people don't have to register or log in to post.

I can go without huge bandwith, but I can't go without this feature. Does anybody know of any good free forum host that will do this?

-Thanks,
Budgetperson

edit: wonder how this thread got active again after 2 years?? can someone delete/lock please?

I use Proboards.

They are good for gaming forums...I'd suggest 'em. 8)

Sure it does...There was a bug there for a brief time where you couldn't login if you didn't change the time to stay logged in to at least a day, but it is fixed now!

They are plain, although, you can customize them in most aspects!

Yes,

There is a setting for each board and category, when you set up the board/category, for the ability to view and post.

If you have any questions, I can PM you my MSN Messenger and I can help you set it up!

Another great free forum provider is http://www.forumotion.com

I have worked with forumotion forums for about 4 years now, and I know the ins and outs of it (administration (ex global mod of a very popular graphics design forum for about 3 years.. and also design and coding i can help with) so if you feel like trying out them, let me know if you need help. If you check the site, there are almost 3million forums people have made, with just over 750million total posts accross all the 3million forums
