Greetings all :)

I think this is the best place to post this question :)

So a little background on myself; I am a consultant in the information systems industry. I know a lot about databases and back end systems :). I am wanting to build a business website however, for other endeavors. My knowledge on building websites and hosting them is very limited.

In searching for information I believe something like Godaddy's website builder for businesses, seems like a decent choice, however finding if it will support what I want to do seems challenging.

Essentially my needs are this;

1) Ability to post photos, vids, and stream music
2) Have a blog associated with the website
3) Interactivity; if we post news for instance, people can comment on that, but also have a forum for posts and interaction
4) Ability to purchase through paypal

If anyone could point me in the right direction on this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Web hosts that immediate come to mind:
Go Daddy - https://www.godaddy.com/ecommerce/shopp ... x?ci=72972
1and1 - http://www.1and1.com/online-store-tarif ... er-selling
Arvixe - http://www.arvixe.com/reseller_web_hosting

There are at least 40 & probably more.

As far as I know, they pretty much all include, or have available, drag & drop website building tools that do not require programming knowledge. For photo, video, & music streaming, you need to be cognizant of monthly bandwidth limitations. Goods sales will require a "reseller" hosting package. The rest are just functions & features added through the website building tools.

Though pretty limited in scope as far as web hosts they covered, PC Magazine did a "how to pick" article back in August on the subject: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2424725,00.asp

Probably best to write down a list of all your exact requirements, i.e. resolution & format of photos & video's that will be on the site, bitrate of streaming music (all used to help calculate monthly bandwidth) then call or email several of the hosting services to see which ones offer the best value to your business.
