What is the best free firewall. I don’t want to get into what I define as best, just what will protect my computer most. Zone alarms didn’t work out for me so I am looking for something else. Suggestions....................

I use Smoothwall.

Gotta have a spare machine, but it doesn't take much of one. I've got mine running just fine on a P350 with 128MB RAM.

i use sygate, pretty felxible because it works well with file sharing programs like bittorrent.

Had a lot of trouble with ZA, so i actually forfeited what i paid for and went with something free.
