I redesigned a website for the company i work for. I was going to do it for free,but they would like to pay me for it. I have never billed for a website before. Here's is the link for the site: http://www.dancetonight.com/worcester/index.html

can anyone give me a ballpark? about have much per hour? I spent about 45 hours in total. Thanks

About a buck two ninty eight an hour for that one.

I have no idea what that means.

I would simply charge a a single total amount instead of by the hour. I would say $200

Thats just a saying, meaning it's not worth that much. $200.00 does sound reasonable though.

Normally you charge a flat fee for the initital design then a hourly rate for any maintainence you do.

Most small design shops I've seen charge around the $250-500 range. Then maintenance fees are usual $25/hour.

That's actually a pretty good website but since you're not a professional I'd say bill them $250 and tell them you can do future maintenance for them at a price of $25/hour.
