Hy Guys :D

If I'm using Firefox 1.01 , or Netscape 7.2 do I really need Virus
protection from AOL if I'm not using Internet Explorer?

AOL 9.0 Virus Edition makes my computer operate like pouring
honey out of a jar. But 5.0 works very fast.

I'm curious if the AOL 9.0 Virus Edition is necessary, considering
I never use Internet Explorer.

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

There are options to AOL anti-virus...whatever that is.

Try AVG at www.grisoft.com for something decent and free.

No matter what browser you use, even if you didn't use one at all, you still need virus protection.

Thanks for the Help! :D

Lummox, I saved the page for future reference.

Dr Satan, I guess your computer is new. 4.0 works the fastest,
with 5.0 being a close second. Followed by 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, &
9.0 Security Edition being the slowest.

i meant ull notice a difference in the way it looks btw. but i think 9.0 may be faster due to the fact it lowers picture sizes to speed up the connection...
