Maximum PC

I've just re installed windows XP Pro and i re installed my D-Link DWA 160 USB Adapter. the problem is that it won't stay connected for more than a few seconds. I have installed and uninstalled the USB adapter several times ,still the same result no connection. I tried , as D-Link suggested that i disable my antivirus first before installing my USB Adapter, still the same result. I've even tried another D-Link DWA 160 from the same network, still the same result. I've even tried using a Cat5e cable direct to the router and got the same results. So my question is what else can i do or try that would allow me to get a constant connection?. My router is a D-Link 825 dual band router. I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks Shawn

Sounds like your router. Try using a different one.

I finally solved the problem with my connection to my D-link router. I emailed D-Link and they said that i should update my firmware. Well that solved the problem and now i've got a constant and strong connection. Also i would like to add, that D-Link was very prompt about replying to my email, less than 24 hrs. My router appears to be working better than ever, not bad for a 3yr old router. Thanks for all the help.
