 Post subject: Google's New(?) Feature?

I just read about it this morning, because its too hot in the middle of the morning, and i can't sleep.

I am sure it has been covered before, but Google has a customizable background feature! requires a form of google account - for mine, i have a gmail account.

I heard about that; a lot people freaked out, apparently, yelling at google for putting something there besides a white background. Something about the background not being worth the extra load time...

(I personally like the idea, but I won't argue with someone who doesn't)

Hehehehe, it probably does seem weird but one of the reasons I use Google on home pages all over the place is that it has always been plain and bare, thus it loads very quickly. And when you connect to a user's pc remotely who has changed that background it REALLY slows down each page scroll...
