This may have already been discussed, but looks like hotmail is gonna expand to 2GB storage. Id like to see someone actually fill there gmail account, lol. It will be fun watching the top 3 come out with diff offers, see who can top who.

Quote:
"Your storage upgrade will include the following features:

* Automatic upgrade to MSN Hotmail® Plus, which will provide 2GB of online
storage and additional benefits when it becomes available this summer
* Exemption from the 30-day Hotmail inactivity policy
* Access to your Hotmail account via Outlook® Express* "

Thats a good question. The hotmail page i got that from didnt have any pricing except for the normal plans. Im sure they will charge for it, hell they charge like $20 a month for 25megs, something like that. My guess is they will charge for it, but it will be worth it because how much more they offer then google. Either way Ill stick with my personal 10meg account, all i need.

the 250MB won't arrive til Fall, and the 2GB that you are seeing is the paid version.

i thought Yahoo is 100MB, not 2GB.

If I ever get 100 MB of mail I'll scream (as in why the HELL do I have this much email). Then again, the 2MB limit for my current hotmail account is laughable. I guess it'll make it easier to share videos and pictures, but they won't be spending much time in my inbox anyway.

I'd like to see Hotmail raise the limit to at least 10 mb for free accounts. It's free, so I have no right to complain, but it's be nice.

Still don't have a GMAIL account...I haven't look in a long time actually...are they still on waiting list status?

I agree with Obsidian (not wanting 100megs of spam), but I'm looking at it from the other angle... that's a lot of space for sending files. They're increasing the attachment limit to 10megs too, so that's going to be fun.
Hotmail isn't my main account, but I'll find more use for it now that they're upgrading the basic service.
