Maximum PC

My son in law (jerk who wont help) uses two newsgroups to get stuff which he then downloads with "Grabit" I downloaded Grabit (free) but when I tried to join "newzbin" the won't accept new members without a referal link from an existing member,even though you pay to join. Can anyone help me with that? I will then have to learn how to use it as well so I am sure I would be back on this forum for that obsticle. I found "Giganews.com" but they want a monthly fee which I am not ready to commit to until I know how to use this stuff. HELP

I'd say use another usenet service...and considering there's a current lawsuit against them from the motion picture assoc, I'd really be running the other way to someone else.

WHOA. I didn't know that. Is there one you can suggest? I am obviously a tyro.
